FORCADELL is looking for a Law professional with experience in the real estate sector to join its legal team. The selected candidate will be responsible for advising on and managing legal matters related to real estate transactions, homeowners’ associations, leases, real estate taxation, as well as commercial and employment law. Their mission will be to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risks, and provide strategic legal solutions to both the company and its clients. The role will also require attendance at internal and external court proceedings.

Responsibilities

Real Estate Law
– Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase, lease contracts, and other property-related agreements.
– Advising on real estate operations and conducting legal risk analyses.
– Managing deeds, registrations, and procedures before public authorities.
– Coordinating Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Data Protection compliance.
– Handling legal proceedings such as payment orders, evictions, and summary and ordinary proceedings, among others.

Homeowners’ Associations
– Providing legal advice to homeowners’ associations and resolving disputes.
– Preparing and reviewing minutes, bylaws, and internal documentation.
– Pursuing claims for unpaid fees and other related proceedings.

Real Estate Taxation
– Conducting tax analysis and optimization in real estate transactions.
– Preparing, reviewing, and filing taxes related to real estate assets (Transfer Tax, VAT, capital gains, etc.)

Commercial Law
– Managing the incorporation, modification, and dissolution of corporate entities.
– Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
– Advising on corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.

Employment Law
– Providing legal advice on employment contracts, dismissals, and procedures before labour authorities.
– Managing and resolving employment-related disputes.
– Supporting collective bargaining processes.

Requirements

  • Education: Law Degree and Master’s in Legal Practice. Specialization in Real Estate Law or Commercial Law is a plus.
  • Minimum experience: 3 years in similar roles.
  • Languages: Spanish and Catalan at native or bilingual level; professional proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of real estate, commercial, and employment legislation, as well as real estate-specific taxation.
  • Skills: Legal analysis and problem-solving; negotiation and communication; results-oriented mindset and teamwork; precision, confidentiality, and autonomy.
  • Proficiency in legal databases and advanced use of Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document preparation and data management.
  • Advanced use of digital and AI tools to automate administrative and legal tracking processes (case-law research, file summaries, information extraction, document support).
  • Experience using generative AI tools to draft, review, and optimize reports, contracts, claims, and legal communications under professional supervision.
