FORCADELL is co-exclusively marketing over 47,000 m² of Logicor’s new logistics park in Barcelona

Logicor, a leading owner, manager, and developer of logistics assets in Europe, has entrusted FORCADELL and JLL with the co-exclusive marketing of over 47,000 m² of its logistics portfolio in Spain, distributed across two newly built warehouses in Abrera, in the province of Barcelona.

The first of these logistics platforms comprises 40,436 m², of which 37,742 m² are warehouse space and 2,694 m² are office space. The asset features 46 loading docks, a clear height of 11 meters, and has been awarded a BREEAM “Excellent” certification, which confirms the minimal environmental impact during the building’s construction, the promotion of energy efficiency, and the reduction of CO₂ emissions.

The second warehouse marketed by FORCADELL and JLL has a total area of 6,912 m², including 6,420 m² of warehouse space and 492 m² of offices. It is equipped with 11 loading docks and also holds the BREEAM “Excellent” certification, meeting the same high standards of sustainability and energy efficiency as the first.

Both logistics assets, whose development works begin in May and are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026, benefit from a strategic location: within the Abrera Logistics Park industrial estate, an ideal hub for large-scale logistics operations thanks to direct access to the AP-2 motorway. They are also adjacent to the entrance of the B-40 tunnel, providing fast access to the Vallès region. Additionally, they are located just 33 km from Barcelona Airport and 35 km from the city center.

Gerard Plana, Director of the Industrial-Logistics Department at FORCADELL, emphasized that “these logistics assets not only meet the highest standards of sustainability and quality, but are also designed to meet the most demanding operational requirements in the market. Their strategic location in Catalonia positions them as a key hub for both national and international distribution.”

Adriana Gorri, Director of Leasing Advisory at JLL in Spain, highlighted that “our marketing strategy is focused on attracting 3PL operators, transport companies, and large corporations, offering flexible spaces that adapt to the evolving demands of the logistics sector. The new B40 connection enhances the appeal of both warehouses by improving accessibility and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the BREEAM Excellent certification of the main asset underscores the commitment to sustainability, a factor increasingly valued by logistics operators.”
