FORCADELL has once again taken part in a new edition of the Magic Line SJD, the charity walk organized by Sant Joan de Déu that, year after year, brings together thousands of people with a shared goal: to help build a fairer and more inclusive society.
In this 13th edition, FORCADELL brought together over 50 participants, including employees, family members and friends, who shared a meaningful day walking approximately 9 km through the city streets with enthusiasm, team spirit and commitment to the cause.
As in previous years, the weeks leading up to the event were marked by several internal solidarity initiatives, driven by the team, which helped raise funds fully allocated to Sant Joan de Déu’s social and healthcare projects.
Participation in the Magic Line is part of FORCADELL’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, through which the company promotes actions that generate a positive impact on society and encourage the active involvement of its people.
Since first joining in 2016, FORCADELL has maintained a strong and ongoing connection with this initiative, in line with its corporate values. This commitment also extends to other Sant Joan de Déu projects aimed at improving the quality of life of vulnerable people and supporting their social inclusion.
The Magic Line SJD is much more than a charity walk; it is a collective movement that, over the years, has helped drive hundreds of social and healthcare projects supporting people in vulnerable situations: the homeless, people with mental health challenges, disabilities, at-risk children, or dependent elderly people, among others.
With more than 500 years of history, Sant Joan de Déu carries out its work with a strong social vocation and a non-profit mission, focusing on caring for and supporting vulnerable people around the world. Today, it operates hundreds of social and healthcare centers across dozens of countries, with hospitality as its core value.
