The Grupo Air Go Express expands its facilities with the support of FORCADELL

FORCADELL has advised the customs operator Grupo Air Go Express on the relocation and expansion of its facilities, enabling the company to have a larger warehouse space to accommodate the growth of its operations in the region.

In this way, the company will be located in a 1,550 m² logistics warehouse within the Parc Logístic de la Zona Franca, in Barcelona’s first logistics ring. The asset features 6 loading docks, interior LED lighting, and BREEAM quality certification.

Logistics platform in one of Barcelona’s most competitive areas

The new facilities of Grupo Air Go Express are located within Parc Logístic de la Zona Franca, owned by MERLIN Properties, a logistics platform situated in Barcelona’s prime area, one of the most important hubs in the Mediterranean Corridor, just 2 km from the city’s airport and 10 minutes from the urban center.

In this regard, Gerard Plana, Director of FORCADELL’s Industrial-Logistics Department, highlighted that “Barcelona’s first logistics ring not only offers excellent connectivity but also a strategic location for the growth of international trade. With this operation, Grupo Air Go Express adds a state-of-the-art logistics platform in one of the most competitive and dynamic areas of the sector.”

Grupo Air Go Express focuses its activities on the intermodal logistics sector for air, land, and sea traffic, both for exports and imports, to provide the best possible service to its clients.

As an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), Temporary Storage Facility (TSF), Authorized Location for Export Goods (ALEG), and a secure warehouse (ES/RA) certified by the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), they possess all the necessary capabilities to meet their clients’ needs. They cater to B2B, B2C, and C2C markets, offering services that include duty drawback, VAT deferral, and special customs regimes.
