FORCADELL has advised the logistics operator Galitrans <\/strong>on its move to a new warehouse located in the Can Volard industrial estate, in Parets del Vall\u00e8s. This operation allows the company to have a larger operational area<\/strong> for the development of its logistics activity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

The new platform has a total surface area of 5,211 m\u00b2<\/strong>, distributed over 5,055 m\u00b2 on the ground floor and 156 m\u00b2 on the mezzanine, as well as 12 loading docks and a large front yard<\/strong>. It is a Class A platform, which meets the highest standards in terms of design, functionality, and efficiency for current logistics operations. Likewise, the asset is prepared for medium risk 5, which reinforces its suitability for safe and versatile operations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

The warehouse is located in Parets del Vall\u00e8s, within Barcelona\u2019s second logistics ring<\/strong>, an area that offers quick access to the AP-7, a key axis for peninsular logistics <\/strong>and connections with the main national and international distribution routes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

The surrounding area is home to leading industrial and logistics companies, which enhances its attractiveness for new operators. In fact, the second ring continues to concentrate a high volume of logistics demand. According to the latest FORCADELL reports<\/a>, during the first half of 2025 it absorbed 40% of the total contracted surface area and 48% of operations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

In this regard, Gerard Plana, director of FORCADELL\u2019s Industrial and Logistics Department, highlighted that \u201cBarcelona\u2019s second logistics ring, and particularly areas such as Parets del Vall\u00e8s, has consolidated itself as a strategic location<\/strong> for the sector. Operating from this area and doing so in a platform with such a high dock ratio, like the one occupied by Galitrans, allows having an asset prepared to face current operational challenges <\/strong>with guarantees.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
