FORCADELL took an active part in the Business Summit held in Barcelona on July 9 and 10, a strategic gathering<\/strong> promoted by Foment del Treball<\/a>, CAEB, CEV, and CEOE Arag\u00f3n, with the aim of strengthening economic and social cooperation<\/strong> between Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, the Valencian Community, and Aragon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

With a combined weight of 32% of the Spanish population and 34% of the national GDP, the main economic and social stakeholders<\/strong> from the four territories worked together to consolidate a Mediterranean axis capable of boosting competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

In this context, FORCADELL<\/a> played an active role in one of the most pressing issues addressed during the Summit: housing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Housing: a shared challenge<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n

FORCADELL\u2019s CEO, Ivan Vaqu\u00e9<\/strong>, took part in the sectoral session dedicated to housing<\/strong>\u2014one of the central topics of the Summit\u2014which brought together representatives from the business and institutional sectors of the participating territories. The housing access<\/strong> crisis was identified as a key challenge that affects both the well-being of citizens <\/strong>and the economic appeal and social cohesion of the regions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

During the session, discussions focused on the lack of affordable supply<\/strong>, the need to renovate the existing housing stock<\/strong>, the integration of sustainability criteria<\/strong>, and the importance of establishing stable regulatory frameworks that encourage private investment with legal certainty.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

FORCADELL\u2019s contribution focused on sharing specialized knowledge and a sectoral perspective built on more than 65 years of experience, emphasizing the importance of a coordinated approach between public administrations and private initiatives to address the major housing challenges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

The Summit made it clear that only through dialogue <\/strong>and collaboration <\/strong>can effective responses to structural challenges affecting these regions be found.
