Description

We are looking for a highly qualified Webmaster to be in charge of the integral management (development, operation and maintenance) of FORCADELL’s website, a leading company in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our website is functional, attractive and optimized to offer the best user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the WordPress-based website, ensuring its correct functioning and security.
  • Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins according to the specific needs of the company.
  • Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage version control using GitHub or BitBucket, including branch management, merges and code conflict resolution.
  • Optimize website performance and ensure fast load times. Develop and maintain integrations with external APIs.
  • Perform unit testing to ensure code quality.
  • Manage the website infrastructure on Amazon Web Services Lightsail.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in web development with PHP and WordPress.
  • Advanced knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
  • Experience using PatternLab to develop user interface components.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Gulp.
  • Knowledge in the use of Composer for dependency management in PHP.
  • Experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Understanding of the Document Object Model (DOM).
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience in the creation and consumption of APIs.
  • Ability to optimize the performance of web solutions.
  • Experience in unit testing.
  • Advanced technical English. Native Catalan and Spanish.
