JAKALA Opens a New Office in Barcelona in Partnership with Forcadell

JAKALA has inaugurated a new office in Barcelona in collaboration with Forcadell. This new headquarters of the multinational company, specialized in Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Experiences, responds to the company’s significant growth in the region. With this opening, the company strengthens its presence in Iberia and consolidates its activity in the city of Barcelona. From this location, a team of over 30 consultants specialized in technology, data activation, and artificial intelligence will play a key role in developing innovative solutions.

Thus, in an operation we have mediated at Forcadell, JAKALA has established itself in a 350 m² space in the Torre Pujades, located in Barcelona’s innovation district 22@. This building offers a total of 10,213 m², fully renovated to accommodate new ways of working. In fact, the infrastructure that JAKALA’s offices will occupy features several collaborative areas designed according to current corporate space trends. These include a multipurpose room with tiered seating, meeting rooms, and a terrace equipped with furniture.

These facilities are certified with the LEED GOLD sustainability standard and the WELL well-being certification. Additionally, they provide the team with a bright workspace with views of both the sea and the city. The offices are located in an area with numerous services and various public transport options for accessibility.

The 22@ area has become a major hub for attracting national and international companies looking to establish their headquarters. It is a prime location that is continuously growing. The tech district is being revitalized and transformed to attract talent and drive economic development in the Catalan capital.

In fact, this district was one of the most in-demand areas for companies in the second quarter of 2024, as reflected in the latest office real estate market report published by Forcadell. In this regard, Manel de Bes, Director of the Office Department at Forcadell, highlights that JAKALA’s offices are located at the beginning of 22@ North, an area that showed strong leasing activity during the first half of the year. Moreover, this area “presents an opportunity for companies needing to expand their space, given the availability of over 40% and the offer of class A buildings.”

He also points out how this area “has already hosted significant transactions by multinational companies, which could serve as a catalyst for attracting other large corporations.”
